A set of six English round melamine placemats made by Lady Clare, in the original box. Each placemat features a botanical illustration of a rose by Pierre-Joseph Redouté. Placemats are backed with green felt. Flower painter and botanist Pierre-Joseph Redouté was an unparalleled master of botanical illustrations and engravings. His most celebrated work Les Roses was published in three volumes between 1817 and 1824.
