This ancient irrigation watering system uses an unglazed and lead-free terra cotta pot, buried neck deep and filled with water. As the soil dries out, water is pulled through the wall of the olla at root level. There is virtually no evaporation and no runoff. This saves up to 70% in water use and grows healthier plants. Features: Ideal for small areas like container gardens, flower beds or large planters. Less watering - Fill 1-2 times weekly (see Note below). Wide neck makes refilling easy, especially as your plants grow. Lid virtually prevents evaporation, plus keeps out mosquitoes and critters.
