This antique water pot, known as Mizubachi (水鉢), is made of glazed earthenware from the Taishō period. Traditionally, these pots are used as ponds, filled with water, plants, and sometimes even fish. This Mizubachi is beautifully decorated with a stylized dragon named Ryū (竜). The inside is gorgeously finished with a blue-green glaze. An authentic and highly sought-after Japanese interior piece, even more beautiful as a plant holder both indoors and outdoors. Dimensions: height 52 cm, diameter 51 cm.
