More information coming soon… Measuring over six feet long (74 1/4 inches), this rectangular field trough was discovered on a property in Burgundy, France. Hand-carved from a single block of limestone, the trough dates to the 1800s and has developed a wonderful patina of ochre and green lichen accumulation and a dark gray and black and mottling of the light gray stone. Ideally suited for an outdoor planter, the trough could also function as a fountain basin, either with a vertical jet or paired with a wall spout.
