Handmade planter by the German ceramicist Helma Klett (1908-1996), decorated in her signature warm, earthy brown-ochre glaze with a folk-inspired linear design. The vibrant exterior glaze appears to have been applied quickly and flows into the interior of the vessel. This deliberate design language celebrates the aesthetics of the everyday object.
