The Jesture series is a continuation of photographer and designer Martyn Thompson's collaboration with UK-based ceramic specialists 1882 Ltd. Drawing on a lively carnival landscape and introducing a new body of work from Thompson, the collection merges stacked vessels, oversized hand thrown vases and striking planters for a lineup that is romantic, ethereal and abstract all at once. The 'Jesture 2' planter in orange is a low, wide mouthed pot defined by uneven blotches of navy, light blue and orange in an application that perfectly summarizes the spontaneity of this series.
