This vintage Chinese stoneware cachepot features a classic rounded form enhanced by a luminous turquoise glaze with subtle tonal variation. The glossy glaze pools slightly around the rim and softly transitions across the body, creating depth and movement while allowing the natural character of the firing process to remain visible. Its clean silhouette makes it equally suited as a planter, cachepot, or decorative vessel. The vibrant blue glaze pairs beautifully with both contemporary and traditional interiors, adding a fresh note of color without overwhelming a space.Crafted in durable glazed stoneware, the planter has an unglazed interior and base, typical of functional pottery. Minor variations in glaze, color, and firing are inherent to the making process and contribute to the individuality of each piece. We currently have six examples available. Each is made in the same form and glaze but displays slight variations in color, glaze movement, and firing characteristics, making every planter subtly unique.
