Willy Guhl 2 Tiered 47" Concrete Trough Planters, 1960s Switzerland

$2,500

1st Dibs

Rare and unique large trough planters by Swiss architect and industrial design pioneer Willy Guhl for Eternit, Switzerland circa 1960s. All are in a white and aged paint with perfect patina. A subtle ridge is cast around the body of each planter giving them a simple and elegant 2-tier design and also allowing them to be stacked into each other. Factory drilled drainage holes in the bottom of each planter. Both stand on 2 ridge feet at the base to allow for drainage underneath. Perfect width for narrow spaces as well as a good weight and depth allowing for larger plants. Priced individually. 7 available.
