Protopunk is a collection of furniture and objects designed by Joost Van Bleiswijk. Each piece is handmade with thick cuts of steel roughly cut with a torch, welded together and then painted. The creative process unfolds in a quite instinctive and gestural way as an expressive and physical gesture. The shapes are bold and the lines are strong nevertheless the collection keeps a certain joyful vibe.
