Don’t use detergent, sponges or scrubbers to clean the kettle, as they can damage the material. Wipe off any excess moisture with a soft cloth. Only use low to medium heat on induction stoves, as high heat can deform the cast iron. If used on an open flame, keep in mind that the cast iron will gradually discolor and the base will turn white over time.
