The design of the DWR Diamond Quilt (2012) evolved from a collage of paper cutouts, a tactile representation that allowed designer Judy White to work in 3-D fashion. "What I loved about the final result, once it was stitched and finished, was that it had the effect of a piece of origami that had been unfolded," she says. The colors she chose represent raw building materials such as stucco and steel, resulting in a set of building blocks for creating the modern bed. Machine washable. Made in Italy.
