I believe this is a custom made chair, one of a kind. The party I acquired this from, shared a photo of her Grandmother when she was a child, sitting in this very chair. She believes the photo was from the 1880's which makes it approximately over 140 yrs old. Extraordinary condition for the age. There are two areas that could be repaired. One being the back right leg with two strips missing as the decorative wrap. The other is the connecting piece is broken but could easily be fixed and is in an inconspicuous area but is sound to use as a display piece.
