Antique Rocking Chair Beautiful, solid wood, painted black with a satin finish. Lovely patina - showing wear and age of an old rocking chair. Traditional s-shaped front lip rolling down and back lip rolling up. This chair is probably over a hundred years old. Probably older - mid 1800's? Family Heirloom. Coming from an estate - and I believe this has been in the family for at least 100 years. Structurally sound - meaning I would happily sit and rock in it without fear. One arm is a bit loose. And it creaks a bit. It's unusual and a very interesting statement piece for almost any spot. Photos taken at all angles - underside, joints, chips and missing paint.
