The chair is in good condition commensurate with their age. Nominal old use marks but nothing significant considering the age of the item. Excellent colour. No breaks to the backs or legs. Although there are no rips or tears to the upholstery, the chair would benefit from being re-upholstered again. The chair features the original horse hair stuffing and is made of Walnut. Made around 1850. Been in our home for over 60 years.
