An antique ebonised bentwood low back design rocking chair. Maker's stamp: Thonet. Circa 1900. The chair has the original finish which is in good condition, showing some light wear with use. It has been cleaned and waxed. The cane seat is in excellent condition, probably replaced at some point in the past. The steam bent process to the arms show some very slight natural splits, these are all sound. The chair is very sturdy with no loose joints, and very usable.
