Mid 19th Century Hand Painted & Stenciled American Windsor Rocking Chair c.1850s Quality built. Custom made. Solid and sturdy. This is a very sturdy and comfortable rocking chair. Built to last by a talented cabinetmaker. The back slats are decorated with stenciled floral patterns. The seat, legs and cross rails show a hand painted striped border. Ample remains of the original paint remain. Dimensions 29" long x 19.5" wide at the front feet x 8" wide at the back feet 17" high at the seat x 23" high at the arms x 40" high at the back. The seat interior measures 17" wide x 16.5" deep. Very good condition.
