Each panel measures in at 24x86 that gives a 96 inch open this is one of the prettiest room dividers that I have seen such detail was put into this it appears that there are 4-3 panel doors that have had a canvas adhere to the front. Either that or this was a huge painting that was cut down to fit these doors. But it appears that it was painted after it was on the doors because the panes is do not wrap around the edges of the doors. I am not sure of the true age and there is no signature of the artist, but I'm led to believe this is from the late 20s early 30s. The subject matter is amazing, people frolicking on horses at the beach. It really is pretty and I can honestly say I've never seen another one like this. I did notice some slight damage, there is a few rough spots on the painting to each panel but nothing major I did not notice any major tears, damage, or repairs. I tried to include all details in photos. This panel came from a private collector in London who was a frequent shopper in the Paris flea market I'm not sure if this has came from there, but I do know that this is part of his private collection that we have just shipped over and are now lucky enough to be featuring here in LA.
