Italian floral screen from the late 19th century. It consists of three oil-painted panels. Its wooden structure consists of a series of stretchers that support and tension the canvas on which the oil painting is placed. The edge of each panel is finished with a pale blue cotton ribbon that protects the canvas. The front of the screen is decorated with a delicate and harmonious array of branches with leaves and flowers in soft tones on a sky-blue background. The back is a very pleasant, plain shade of light grayish blue. It is a truly beautiful and functional piece, both for dividing spaces or as a wall decoration.
