Paravent Ambassade by Charlotte Perriand – Cassina I Maestri Collection.‎Following meticulous work to recover this project, carried out in collaboration with Pernette Perriand-Barsac, daughter of Charlotte Perriand and founder of the archives, Cassina puts the Paravent Ambassade screen into production for the very first time.‎Thanks to the skills of the company's carpentry workshop, 313 solid wood blocks, worked and finished by hand, are assembled and connected to each other with metal tie rods.‎ The blocks are interrupted with self-lubricating, black plastic spacers that allow the screen to be shaped according to one’s needs.‎An elaborated weave of wood, the screen becomes a work of art that reveals transparencies and at the same time creates privacy.‎The Paravent Ambassade is available in natural Canaletto walnut or natural oak.‎ Like all the products in the Cassina I Maestri Collection, each piece bears the logo and author’s signature, in addition to the progressive number that corresponds to its identity card, to guarantee its authenticity.‎Materials: solid natural Canaletto walnut or natural oak blocks with a matt finish for the Cassina I Maestri Collection and stained-black oak with a matt finish for the Cassina Pro Collection; aluminium tie rods; black, self-lubricating plastic spacers; fixed, adjustable feet in black plastic.‎
