Each panel is richly decorated with carved and painted floral and scholar’s motif scenes—vases, scrolls, and censers—meticulously hand-carved and -painted and highlighted with fine gilt detailing. The reverse side maintains the traditional understated contrast but features more minimal carvings of nature scenes including sunflowers and roosters. Condition is very good, showing only minor age-appropriate surface wear. Perfect as a decorative room divider or wall accent, bringing an air of vintage Chinese artistry to any space.
