This pad is 1/4'' thick and should be trimmed just slightly smaller than your rug. 5x7 and larger sizes will arrive in 4'6'' rolls for easy installation. Simply roll out each piece side by side (taping together is not necessary), lay the rug on top, then trim any excess with scissors. This pad is reversible and spot cleans with warm water and mild soap. Circular and odd sizes can easily be trimmed to fit the rug. This pad can also be used on each step under a stair runner.
