Embodying his unprecedented approach to eclectic geometry, the play of a tiled border and striped field pattern brings out the notes of beige, red, yellow, and a fabulous multicolor array in the joyful and distinctive fashion synonymous with Müren’s style, which itself seemed inspired from the wave of postmodernism in post-WW2 Britain and its resurrection of playful color and pattern in the textile industry.
