A fabulous antique Karadja rug, woven circa 1900 in a difficult to find small size. The design features 3 geometrical medallions on a deep indigo field surrounded by a terracotta border. Lovely secondary colours including a particularly attractive teal in the medallions and a very decorative small rug. Size: 1.35m x 1.00m (4ft 5in x 3ft 4in) This rug has light, age related wear, with a couple of small spots which are very slightly heavier (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
