An early 20th century Persian Antique Tabriz rug, the caramel field with a spacious lattice in shades of green, orange and beige formed of palmettes, whimsical flowering vinery and rosettes within a pastel green border of architectural scrolling vine. An antique Tabriz can be made of cotton or silk and woven as a pile antique Persian rug or flat-weave. A refined palette reliant on copper tones, terracotta and ivory, with shades of blue and subtle touches of gold, green and salmon are prevalent in antique Persian Tabriz rugs.
