Epoca is a 100% top-quality New Zealand wool rugs collection that plays with overtones. Its design represents the erosion process given by the time on ancient buildings. Using degrades shades it has been created a timeless and soft decoration that seeing closer it lets the look discover all the layers hide behind that design. The several numbers of historic buildings in Italy make it possible to discover their past by observing their exterior walls erosion process. This magnificent design gives us back a glimpse of how these buildings have been expertly built by Italian artisans and understand how these skills gave very long life to those architectures. Made with the tufting technique, with 100% New Zealand top quality wool. Yarns and manufacture are certificates as handcrafted exclusively in the Italian atelier.A+N is a material research and design studio founded in 2014 by Alissa van Asseldonk and Nienke Bongers (Eindhoven, NL), after having met at Design Academy Eindhoven.
