Beni M'guild Moroccan Rug, 05'06 X 10'09

This hand-knotted wool vintage blue Beni M'Guild Moroccan rug features a geometric pattern composed of two stacked lozenge medallions flanked with a chevron and diamond motif at one end. Smaller diamond motifs highlight the inside of the two lozenge motifs and along the vertical sides of the composition. Though deceptively simple, this vintage Moroccan rug is clearly laced with meaning and cultural significance.
