Burnished Moonlit Mirage - The Summer Solstice is a rectangular wool rug.‎ Zollanvari Super Fine Gabbeh quality.‎There is a fleeting moment at the edge of twilight when the world holds its breath.‎ In our Burnished Moonlit Mirage designs, Zollanvari Studio captures this ephemeral stillness through a masterful play of shadow and light.‎ These Super Fine Gabbehs are a study in delicate contradiction.‎ A bold, burnished celestial orb—be it a sun dipping below the horizon or a rising harvest moon—is veiled by the haunting, skeletal beauty of a winter forest.‎ The verticality of the trees creates a rhythmic, almost musical veil, through which the vibrant background glows with a crystalline intensity.‎ A hauntingly beautiful meditation on the deep stillness of midnight.‎ The cool, twilight blue field is punctuated by a smouldering harvest moon, creating a sense of “Indigo Nocturne”—a quiet, celestial mystery viewed through the delicate veil of a sleeping forest.‎The Landscape collection is an integral part of the Zollanvari Gabbeh range.‎ The majority are in Zollanvari Super Fine quality, woven by Ghashgha’i nomads from the Fars Province, who are renowned for extremely fine carpets such as Kashkuli Bibibaff and Wasir Machsus.‎ With this in mind we turned to them for the extremely demanding production of our modern Zollanvari Super Fine Gabbehs.‎ The designs and symbols used are rooted in the old Gabbeh design canon that Zollanvari have reinterpreted with a modern twist and to suit modern interiors and sensibilities.‎
