Hand knotted in the cc-tapis atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. The rug is made with a cotton weave and a Himalayan wool pile, coming from the areas surrounding the atelier. Created with a special technique used exclusively by cc-tapis. The sale of every rug supports cc-foreducation. Size: 7.5' x 9.8' ft. Oldie.Chiara Andreatti draws her inspiration from Japanese Ikat fabrics from the early 19th century. A rug characterized by a nocturnal color palette of various shades of indigo - spanning from a soft blue, to an ultramarine, to an almost black blue - mixed with the sandy tones of raw Himalayan wool.
