Hand knotted in the cc-tapis atelier in Kathmandu, Nepal. The rug is made with a cotton weave, a Himalayan wool, bamboo silk and linen borders, coming from the areas surrounding the atelier. 125.000 individual knots per square meter approximately. The sale of every rug supports cc-foreducation. Size: 8.2' x 8.2' ft. A (125.000 knots/sqm approx.) A homage to the country it was created in, the name “Parvata” is the Nepali word for mountain and is produced by cc-tapis at the base of the Himalayas. A concept translated by the weavers to convey the natural wonders of Himalayan rock formations.
