Chaddar Square Pouf

The Chaddar Square Pouf from Gan Rugs uses hand embroidery on flexible fiberglass mesh to create a tactile surface texture. Designer Charlotte Lancelot developed a construction method in which thick wool threads attach directly to the grid backing, creating dimensional relief. The foam rubber core provides firm seating support, while the wool exterior offers a soft, tactile feel. The technique adapts petit point embroidery for furniture-scale applications.
