Cobblestone is a vegan, sustainable, contemporary rug by Italian design company G.T.DESIGN, pioneer in the contemporary rug industry. This circular rug is woven with a special brick-like pattern, inspired by the paving typically found in Italian piazzas and cobbled streets; the blocks of color are separated by delicate grooves created in the body of the rug. This special process lends chromatic depth to the rug, produced in "Tencel", one of the most eco-compatible fibers currently available on the market. Tencel is obtained from easily-renewable sources, and the production process has a very low environmental impact. The resulting cellulose-derived fibers are soft, light, breathable and biodegradable. Thanks to this material, "Cobblestone" keeps its shine and captures the light creating a different environment depending on how the rug is positioned in space. Designed by the Italian rug company’s creative director Deanna Comellini, "Cobblestone" has a modern geometrical pattern in shades of luminous greys and greens, bringing a bright and elegant touch to any space."Cobblestone dominates the space, expands it, offering new points of view for the observer" - affirms Deanna Comellini - "With the steadiness of its geometrical pattern, the rug becomes a serene haven in the home's interiors". Size: ø 300 cm._____Deanna Comellini is an artist and a designer.
