Circular Tiger Rug 1 is a circular wool rug.‎ Zollanvari Super Fine Gabbeh quality.‎The first circular rug in the Tiger Collection, conceived by Reza Zollanvari for Zollanvari Studio, follows the Persian tradition of depicting tigers in Gabbeh rugs.‎ Here again the tiger is portrayed as bright and fierce, like the Caspian tigers that once roamed over most of the northern provinces of Iran.‎The outstanding Caspian tigers that once roamed over most of the northern provinces of Iran, have been extinct for almost half a century.‎ Zollanvari Studio celebrated these magnificent beasts by releasing the new colourful Tiger Collection on the 29th of July 2021, the designated World Tiger Day.‎ The full collection that follows the Persian tradition of depicting tigers in Gabbeh rugs is now available in many colour-ways.‎
