Cloud 9 Rug

The Cloud 9 series captures fleeting sky moments and transforms them into textured landscapes for the floor. Designed by FACNE Studio for massimo copenhagen, each rug is a handwoven composition of soft gradients and layered contours that echo the shifting moods of the sky. From misty greys to early blush tones, every version evokes a different time of day—Afternoon, Cloudy, Day, or Morning. Made from 100% New Zealand wool, the surface combines multiple weaving techniques with subtle changes in pile height, creating a tactile sense of depth. These pieces aren’t just rugs—they’re quiet, grounded artworks that sit effortlessly in minimalist, Scandinavian, or contemporary spaces.
