The Colorado Area Rug from Nanimarquina brings the old world and handmade weaving into the modern era, with designer Inga Sempé putting a new spin on Chobi weave and tight, hand-spun wool that changes as it moves. Each rug is hand-knotted by artisans in Pakistan, using Afghan wool and an iconic Persian knot and Kilim technique. When each knot is tied, it creates a subtle, distinct pattern, varying slightly along its length with subtle shifts in shape and density.
