A custom, handmade Tulu rug made from 100% Hand-Spun Wool of finest quality. It features a simple checkered design in cream and blue. It can be CUSTOM-PRODUCED in any Design, Size, Color Combination and Pile Thickness requested. These beautiful rugs are hand-knotted in our workshop located in Central Anatolia, famous for being one of the world's oldest rug-making centers.All our weavers are women artisans who inherited their carpet weaving skills from their mothers and grandmothers as they passed down the tradition to future generations.The designs are inspired by vintage Moroccan Berber, Beni Ouarain and Azilal carpets as well as antique Turkish "Tulu" Rugs.It takes 3 weavers approximately 5 weeks to produce one of these rugs from scratch depending on the size.
