An outstanding early 20th century Persian Mahal rug with an incredible all-over pattern of myriad flowers and leaves woven in light and dark indigo, gold, green, crimson, white, and cream colored wool on an incredible abrash crimson background. The border is exceptional with a large floral and leaf pattern flanked by pairs of petite floral patterned stripes, all woven in similar colors as the field.
