A remarkable early 20th century Persian Kazak rug with three large diamond medallions, each woven with stylized flowers, and set against a backgrond with densely woven flowers and animals, surrounded by a complex border with thinly woven floral and scrolling vine patterned stripes, and all woven in brilliant crimsons, greens, varying shades of indigo, cream, brown, and black wool.
