A beautiful antique Ferahan rug, handwoven circa 1900 with an allover Herati design on a midnight blue field and lighter indigo border. Finely woven with lovely wool quality and great secondary colours, especially the soft gold in the corner spandrels. Size: 2.03m x 1.32m (6ft 8in x 4ft 4in) This rug is in good condition with light, age-related wear, slightly heavier in places. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
