A wonderful late 19th century Persian Lavar Kirman prayer rug with an exceptional pattern of multiple flowering cyprus trees-of-life amidst a field of flowering branches woven in traditional cranberry, pink, orange, and indigo vegetable dyed wool on a natural undyed wool background. The border is comprised of three floral and scrolling vine borders woven in complementary dyed wool.
