Inspired by folklore and traditional arts and crafts, Swiss designer Sonnhild Kestler joined with Maharam to produce the Mandala Rug, a textile design based on temples she visited in India. Richly hued and skillfully composed, the Mandala Rug recontextualizes architectural and decorative references in a bold, symmetrical arrangement.
