An Oushak reproduction faithful in weave and motif to the Turkish Oushak rugs exported to Europe in the 16th and 17th centuries, Dalton features a field of random enlarged palmettes balanced with an orderly sequence of blossoming vines and flower heads. Dalton recreates the geometric designs coveted antiques with handspun wool processed with a special wash to reproduce an aged patina, resulting in soft muted colors that complement contemporary lifestyles.
