An outstanding early 20th century palatial-size Afghani Bashir rug with a rare and wonderful all-over floral and leaf lattice pattern woven in crimson, light and dark indigo, on a dark indigo background. The border is extraordinary with several petite floral and geometric patterned stripes, all woven in similar colors as the field.
