Hand-knotted on a loom by Nepalese artisans, this rug boasts a bold pattern and striking color contrast crafted using 100% Tibetan highland wool and New Zealand wool. The prominent border in houndstooth pattern frames an internal square in gray plaid, creating a textural and three-dimensional visual effect. This imposing rig designed by Francesco Lucchese in 2009 features 100 knots per inch with a pile of 6mm. On request, this rug can be made using 100% silk or 50% wool and 50% silk and in other sizes.\n
