ROUND MIRAGE FOR CASSINAThe MIRAGE collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola, embraces a new shape and opens up to explore the possibilities of the circle with new visual effects.‎ The collection grows with a new design, ROUND MIRAGE, in which color, geometry and overlays continue to dominate but curved lines take over, creating a sinuous impression and greater sense of movement.‎The contour of ROUND MIRAGE becomes rounded and more defined than in the original design, delineating the intersection of a circle with a square.‎ Urquiola once again creates an optical illusion that recalls the avant-garde op-art movement of the mid-twentieth century, with multiple gradients of color that seem to reflect light.‎The combination of simple forms with the illusion and dynamism generated by the combination of colors gives rise to a piece with personality, which gives character to any space.‎Halfway between rug and piece of art, it is conceived both to be placed on the floor and to be displayed on the wall.‎Knotted by hand, the rug is entirely handmade using New Zealand wool, a high-quality natural fiber, sustainable, renewable and biodegradable, which is also hypoallergenic, insulating and easy to care for.‎ROUND MIRAGE is available in two color palettes, Blue and Nude.‎ Its dimensions are 169x300cm (5’7”x9’10”).‎
