Square legs and crossbars keep the structure frank; the U‑shaped seat spreads weight so the front edge doesn’t bite—one of those details you feel right away. Two choices, same silhouette: an all‑oak seat at 12.7 lb, or a Hallingdal 65 wool‑viscose upholstered seat over fire‑retardant foam at 13.4 lb. Seat height sits in the standard range—17.7″ or 45.0 cm (wood) and 18.1″ or 46.0 cm (upholstered)—so it slides under most dining and work tables without drama. At home it rotates from breakfast to laptops; in hospitality it shrugs off daily knocks. The natural‑oil finish lets the oak pick up a quiet patina. Care is simple: dry cotton cloth for daily wipe‑downs; mild soap if needed—no abrasives.
