Tintas (in Spanish for "inks") is a hand-knotted carpet using the Soumak technique.‎ The design features a balanced composition of geometric shapes created through colored lines that overlap, emerge and disappear, like spontaneous strokes drawn by hand on a piece of paper.‎Hand knotted in New Zealand wool, jute and cotton.‎ Flat weave finish with Soumak technique.‎ Available as multicolor, customizable color and size.‎ Not suitable for outdoor use.‎The hand-knotted rugs are produced with the ancient technique of manual knotting in which the knots are tightened by hand, one by one.‎ The shape of the knotting, the type of knot and its thickness give the rug unique characteristics.‎ The quality of the carpet increases proportionally to the number of knots of which it is composed.‎ The hand-knotted rugs are works of the highest craftsmanship.‎
