Jute is the softest of the plant fibers commonly used for floor coverings; Argentinian wool is prized for its resilience. This rug is woven of both materials, ensuring that it feels as inviting as it looks and will stand the test of time. Because it's woven via the soumak technique, it is thicker and stronger than typical kilims but certainly no less beautiful. A rug pad is recommended to help prevent slipping.
