Handwoven in wool circa 1950-1960, this vintage 2x4 Afghan kilim and scatter rug is a new acquisition from Rug & Kilim’s mid-century rugs. On the Design: The flatweave depicts geometric patterns in a repeat of diagonals and stripes. Though polychromatic, keen eyes will note a burgundy field, which underscores lighter reds, varied blues and greens among the bright, saturated hues it enjoys.
