The first step of the cleaning process consists of a thorough beating of the rug to remove dust and mites, if any. The subsequent pre-wash with a PH neutral soap removes stains. During the main wash, the carpet is washed by hand through and through wet - a special soap is gentle on the fibers and preserves the carpets natural wool grease. Machine pressing and spinning are used for initial rinse and dry, so that the carpets are then hang-dried with circulating air.
