Hand-knotted circa the first quarter of the 1900s, the rug features a richly hued rust red field with pink undertones, anchored by a deep navy blue medallion that draws the eye inward with quiet authority. Corner spandrels in softly abrash French blue add a painterly dimension to the composition, framing the central motif with graceful harmony. The navy border is beautifully adorned with geometric florets in tones of pale green, yellow, soft cream, and light blue — colors that echo throughout the field, adding depth and movement to the whole composition.
